Snowboarder David Djité: Stereotypen im Schneesport

David Djité has been on a snowboard since he was a child. For five years he rode professionally, from the European Cup to the World Cup, competing internationally for Switzerland.

In the mountains he was often not read as Swiss. In 2026 he founded the collective Technically Doing It, a community of Black and Brown snowboarders working for more visibility in snow sports. His goal, in his own words: to see as much diversity on the slopes as at Zurich main station.
