Dunja grew up being seen as “the small, cute one,” but rarely as the strong one. At just 1.58 m (5'2"), she was often underestimated, both in everyday life and at the gym. Over time, she began to question this perception: Why should strength be associated primarily with men? Instead of accepting the idea that she was “small,” Dunja chose to redefine what strength and femininity could look like. Through weightlifting, she began sculpting her body, building physical and mental strength, and creating a new image of herself, one where femininity and power go hand in hand.
